Gargoyle Frodo

Hiking on Sunday my eye caught this “gargoyle” snuggling against a grandmother cedar along the trail to Franklin Falls, Snoqualmie Pass in Washington State. I asked its name and I heard “Frodo!”

“Gargoyles – Protectors from Evil.

There are many theories has to how and why medieval architects and stone carvers developed gargoyles. It is believed that they were used to ward of evil and to act as guardians of the church to keep the terrible spirits of evil away and were inspired from a passage written in the bible. Adrienne Mayor believes they were inspired by the skeletal remains and bones of dinosaurs, found by Greek and Roman palaeontologists. Many gargoyles are similar to the legends and figures of the ancients Celts, such as the Green Man or Jack of the Green … the god of tree worship. The Pagan artists who carved these were inspired by their culture and were the last vestiges of paganism from an age when god would be heard in trees and river plains. Or are they representations of deep rooted elements within human nature and expressions of man’s subconscious fears or attempts to define or embody evils of the world into manageable elements.

Whatever their true origins these awesome visual images have been with man for hundreds of years and they still seem to catch and inspire the imagination of modern society. Maybe they do, indeed, have a spirit of their own.”

Laughter — One Frequency

I had a dream last week about a man who lovingly put his hand on top of my head. The sensation was grounding, soothing, comforting. I told him that my crown chakra was now my root chakra – that I had experienced a polarity shift! I read that Gaia icanstockphoto23025096s also experiencing a polarity shift!

This morning I had a dream about a man who was similar to my ex-husband. We were laughing hysterically about something intimate we had experienced. We laughed so hard in the dream that when I came “up” into consciousness, moving from the brainwave frequency depths of delta, theta, alpha and into the waking state of beta, the window “frame” from which I see dream and see through was moving rapidly up and down in synch with our laughter. Our powerful laughter had rolled through wavelength after wavelength into this new morning. This is a good omen for S/He Dragon’s Sacred Masculine and the Sacred Feminine!

My book S/He Dragon ~ How I Found My Wings includes ordinary and these non-ordinary experiences of reality.

Turn and Re-turn

Do you feel Spring moving in your brain, blood and bones?

I feel its gravitational push and pull activating me to press into something earthy. I feel it enlivening me into passionate expression.

Dark winter ends and Light increases on Earth. Do you feel it rising up from underground depths? Do you feel its green life force moving through your earth?

“Let not your heart be troubled!” Spring is here! This turning and re-turning of Earth and Sun cycle calls us to participate in the awakening of Spring.

Dragon Fire

It’s not enough to attend church and pray. It’s not enough to meditate and do yoga. It’s not enough to know the science of quantum physics. It’s not enough to astral travel and meet spirit guides. It’s not enough to find bliss in nature. It’s not enough.

Enough begins when I excavate deep layers of my psyche. Enough is when I face my ghosts and demons, loosening and freeing them from their haunts. Enough is when I feel the deep wounds of emotional pain and grieve cycle by cycle.

Dark and Light go hand in hand. Spirit is just another word and spirituality is just another mental concept until I get dirty in the mud of my unconscious. Here my psyche is aerated and purged.

Turning away from darkness is not enough. Now is the time. This is the place. I am enough to face the Dark.

I was reading a dragon book to an eight-year old and as I was looking at images of baby dragons I had a revelation.  My salamander dream from 1993 (shared in my forthcoming book S/He Dragon ~ How I Found My Wings) was not a salamander at all.  It was a baby dragon! This tickled me because this “salamander” proceeded, through visions, to turn into a dragon. Now, I have the lineage correct.

Here is the “salamander” image drawn by Native American, David Horsely, for my Community Threads’ logo.  ( I could not use this image in my book since I could not locate him to get permission. I will use it on the S/He Dragon website. It’s fun when revelations hit and one sees more clearly.

Emote Yourself

One cannot be fully aware of something until it is embodied, expressed emotionally. This is very different than knowing about something with one’s analytical mind. If one wants to know happiness, express the colors and sounds of happiness. If one wants to know peace and love, express the compassionate qualities of peace and love.

Meet Your Chakras

Instead of putting all our energy into finding a boy or girl friend, lover, wife or husband why don’t we find our own inner relationship? The Sacred Feminine (intuitive knowing) and Sacred Masculine (analytical logic), our most intimate relationship, resides within our psyche and brain-body.  I witnessed these two meeting within myself and discovered how their “mystical marriage” grew wings!

S/He celebrates the astral body, its chakras and corresponding endocrine glands. This divine network downloads Light. It’s time for humans to meet their S/He and their chakras! It’s time to fly…free!
