Relay Station Wiring

Another incoming signal that he (the man I’ve been in a creative process with for over two years) is still in love with his ex-wife. In love with meaning wired and bonded. I’m not emotional about this! A victory for me! I’m logical. She (whoever she is) is in my field through him. Am I supposed to wire and bond with her too? His wiring adds or detracts from my wiring—love is an exchange of wiring.

I now have a decision to make as to how I will spend time, energy and finances. It feels like I’m at a relay station that can take me in different directions. Is this that bundle of wires? What’s the highest and most loving thing to do for myself and for him?

“The thalamus is called the relay station because it sorts incoming sensory information to the appropriate part of the brain.”

The relay station I’m seeing is like my kids’ train set where the track can go in different directions.

“At various points along the track, rails may have switches, which can move a train from one track to another. Switches and accompanying track are important for controlling traffic. For example, when two trains are operating on the same track, a switch can allow one train to pull off to a holding track while the other one passes. A switch also can change a train’s direction like moving it from a north-south track to an east-west one. Many railroad stations have switching yards where trains are assembled and moved onto various tracks.”
